Products were imported from Austria, Turkey, Israel, India and China. Top Quality products, favorable pricing and extraordinary next-day turnaround established this site. The front end and catalog were based on proprietary CGI scripts. My work involved using sockets to download sales transaction data from the Apache webserver host to the backoffice windows network. Using VB5 and asynchronous events, code was written to prepare customer orders for fulfillment. |
